Not to be confused with TV/Film studio Bad Robot Productions, Bad Robot is an electronic musician that grew up in the static of early-2000s suburbia, raised by a glitchy Windows desktop and a tidal wave of leftover ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s culture. With a computer in reach before most kids had cell phones, sound quickly became a playground. Electronic music hit early, and it hit hard.
What started as a curiosity turned into compulsion—gritty, melodic techno and genreless experiments shaped by years of obsessive creation. Based in the U.S., Bad Robot makes tracks that feel like beautiful malfunctions: synthetic, emotional, machine-driven but always human at the core.
